Technical Data of the Exhibition

Twenty one mobile double sided stand-up panels (1 meter width x 2 meters high): 
Texts and information in Lithuanian and English language. Panels were designed to be easily transported and exhibited in Lithuanian schools, local or foreign museums, cultural institutions;

Exhibition could be loaned and presented in full set of the panels or according to the thematic parts of your choice. Please see the exact themes of the panels down below:

I theme: Between Scylla and Charybdis: 1940-1941 (7 panels):
1 panel – In the propaganda trap
2 panel – Nationalization
3–4 panels – Limitations of cultural activities and persecution.
5 panel – Resistance
6–7 panels – Deportation

(Panel, dedicated to Holocaust theme, dividing first and second Soviet occupations)
II theme: Attempts to restore Community Life after the War: late 1944–1948 m (4 panels)
1 panel – Reconvening the Community
2 panel – First Signs of Memory
3 panel – Children of the Holocaust
4 panel – The Museum. Preserving the Legacy

III theme: The Shattering of Illusions: 1948-1955 (2 panels):

IV theme: Preserving One’s  Native Language : 1950s-1970s (4 pannels):
