The Creative of Jacques Lipchitz
 Chronology

Museum of Jacques Lipchitz in Druskininkai was opened in 1996 and is devoted to the memory of the world-famous sculptor

.Jacques Lipchitz was born in Druskininkai in 1981 and he lived in Druskininkai with his parents, brothers and sisters until 17 years of age. Having worked in many countries and gained the worldwide fame, the artist never forgot his native town of Druskininkai and roots of his descent. “ Lithuania , Lithuania my Motherland, I don’t have any other, except for that, which is perfect as a dream,” wrote the artist.
